hempfandango: (Deadpool - "madness")

  • Comic book blog 4th Letter did a Top 70 Deadpool Moments countdown and you should check it out. And I'm not just saying that because I was quoted in it ~extensively~ (because I am a huge Deadpool nerdlinger).

  • My feelings re: a possible Deadpool movie: I think it would be a good thing. Even if Fox fucks it up (which they almost certainly will), I'd still be forgiving, so long as they keep Ryan Reynolds. That guy just gets it.

  • The Wolverine movie stopped entertaining me when Wade "died" offscreen. Even Hugh Jackman running around in a tight white shirt for half the movie couldn't cheer me up.

  • Re: FCBD: The Avengers comic has been the most entertaining so far. Blackest Night 0 wasn't really enlightening (har har) at all.

  • Guys, I think Marvel Adventures: Avengers is my new favourite comic book.

  • It seems that after failing multiple times to revive the chemistry House and Cuddy had in the first few seasons, the writers of HOUSE, MEDICAL DOCTOR have finally given up and just made Cuddy into a female proxy of Wilson. gj guys.

  • P.S. this just makes House seem gayer.

  • P.P.S. bring back Amber.

So. [livejournal.com profile] axolotl_lan. Big Barda movie? (Maybe?)
hempfandango: (Don't let's start)
During Christmas, I asked [livejournal.com profile] axolotl_lan what she wanted, and she answered "fic or fanart". Unfortunately, I wasn't exaclty in a creative mood at the time, so she got nothing. Well, except for a sketch of a grown-up Moth that I stubbornly refuse to scan. And she didn't really "get" it, because it's still in my sketch book.

My point is, I figured I'd give her something ~fannish~ for her birthday.

Happy Birthday, [livejournal.com profile] axolotl_lan!

hempfandango: (I did it for the lulz)
I hope you guys have been reading the latest down at bad_penny. It's long, but educational.

It also makes me dislike CC. Stealing lines from Discworld and due South? Not cool. >:(

P.S. Everyone should go and see Spamalot. Just sayin'.
